Last Saturday was beautifully warm and dry, perfect ultimate practice weather. We warmed up with a couple of laps of the pitch and some dynamic stretching, and then some sprinting at 50%, 75% and 103%.
Drills: box drill; throwing in pairs, newbies paired with experienced, forehand and backhand but just flat as it was a bit too windy for foolishness with inside-outs etc - when it's windy keep it flat! And we did a cutting drill with attention on running through the disc.
And then we played; and then we played some more; then a few people headed off, and we had some three against three.
Strider
PS The weather's looking mostly dry again, so come on out everyone..
Wow, it's so pretty! I love it and I will definately make one for myself.Thank you very much.

After only a few weeks, I've found a number of things wrong with the Palm Pre I posted about back in September. I know, I know, I switch phones a lot and have been pretty impatient the last few years with these sorts of things, but I really made a bad choice with the Pre. Initially I was OK with how cheap the phone appeared to be because of all of the webOS features, and the speed that I got from Sprint's network over AT&T. But that waned quickly with the other things that started cropping up. Sure, the Sprint network was better than AT&T, but it still sucked at home much of the time, and at work as well.

Raines was in the Ergo, my diaper bag weighed about 50 lbs (it was stuffed full of dipaers, wipes, clothes, a laptop and various toys/dvds/non-messy art supplies), and I was attempting to wheel the car seat to the very BACK of the airplane, where the stewardess had so very helpfully assigned us two seats. THANK YOU, UNITED. And it turns out that while our car seat DOES indeed fit down the aisle of the plane, it only fits by INCHES. THANK YOU BRITAX. Or maybe, THANK YOU BOEING. Not really sure who to blame for this one. But one thing was clear: never again would I bring a car seat on-board an airplane.

Businesses are the only entity that can hire labor and capital and combine them in such a way as to create a product or a service that society may decide is worth more than it costs. And that spread between the cost of production and what society is willing to pay is economic value; it is the generation of profits that then enables the taxes that the government collects to spend on the goods and services it thinks America ought to consume.
